Mr Remoundos works closely with a dedicated team which includes radiologists and a breast specialist nurse, to provide a one-stop breast clinic with exceptional levels of care and expertise. Felicity Snell, his PA, is always available to assist with any enquiries and make arrangements to ensure your visit to the clinic is as easy as possible.

Mr Dennis Remoundos
Mr Dionysios-Dennis Remoundos is a Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon at Oxford University Hospitals, taking up his appointment in 2016. He is the current lead of the breast cancer multidisciplinary team (MDT), playing a pivotal role in ensuring that patients are treated quickly and to a high standard, according to national targets.
He obtained his medical degree from Trinity College, Cambridge. After working in London and Suffolk, Mr Remoundos settled in Oxford where he completed his Higher Surgical Training as a General Surgeon with a specialty interest in Breast Surgery.
He is a trained Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon, able to use plastic surgery techniques for improved cosmesis after breast cancer surgery. He completed a prestigious TIG Fellowship at St. James’s Hospital, Leeds, prior to a further fellowship in Oxford, refining his techniques of breast conservation and reconstruction.
Mr Remoundos treats both men and women for benign breast conditions and complaints, including pain, breast lumps, nipple discharge, nipple inversion, gynaecomastia and breast infection. He specialises in the treatment of breast cancer, offering oncoplastic breast conservation, reconstructive surgery, risk-reducing surgery and symmetrising surgery.

Furthermore, Mr Remoundos offers consultations regarding aesthetic breast surgery, including breast reduction, breast augmentation (enlargement) and mastopexy (breast lift).

Professional registration and memberships
Mr Dionysios - Dennis Remoundos is on the Specialist Register of the General Medical Council (GMC registration number 6076964). He engages with the annual appraisal process and complies with the GMC Good Medical Practice (to hyperlink). Following treatment, he communicates with general practitioners in line with the Department of Health and GMC guidelines.
He is a member of the Association of Breast Surgery, the European Society of Surgical Oncology and the British Medical Association.
Mr Remoundos has professional indemnity with the Medical Protection Society.
Evidence based practice
We believe in the importance of practicing evidence based breast surgery and Mr Remoundos is an investigator for a number of regional and national surgical trials, while also promoting national collaborative audits.
Mr Remoundos is continuing to contribute to the medical literature by presenting at national and international conferences and publishing work in peer reviewed journals. Previous work includes topics such as phyllodes tumours, day-case breast surgery, the use of One-Step Nucleic Acid Amplification (OSNA) for the analysis of sentinel nodes in breast cancer and medication safety.
He is also a citable author in national collaborative audits, including iBRA (Implant Breast Reconstruction), iBRA-2, Margins audit, TeaM (Therapeutic mammoplasty).
